- Eliminate foods that cause an allergic response or to which
there is a sensitivity (fast, use an elimination diet, or allergy
test to isolate such foods)
- Avoid sugar and refined foods
- Increase fiber in the diet to
approx. 35 - 45 grams per day
- Decrease salt intake to 3 grams (especially for PMS - H)
- Decrease consumption of saturated fats, e.g., red meats and
dairy products
